"If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently."
-Bill Watterson
In Episode 14, we return to Deer, Arkansas! Last time we were here, we had so much fun; we couldn't wait to get out there to see more!
We spent the weekend camping and riding with family and exploring The Natural State!
Nothing says family trip like an epic Saturday morning breakfast! Everyone contributes something, and we end up with an incredible meal like this!
After cleaning up, we headed out on a trail we had scoped out the day before but hadn't gotten a chance to explore! The trail started out a little narrow and was clearly not used to entertaining Jeeps, but we made it through--only needing to cut a tree out of the trail once.
There were a few tight squeezes.
There was so much to see along this trail. Enormous rocks that tumbled down the hill and were content to stay,
beautiful emerald creeks,
and incredible overlooks.
We finished out the night with some incredible food (check out Big John's tacos in the video!) and an outdoor movie (after Ben fought for about an hour to find the cords we needed and eventually made his own)!
We can't wait for the next time we get to hang out with these incredible people. What other Arkansas hidden gems do we need to check out? Comment here or on our video!
