"In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer."
-Albert Camus
In episode 18, we do a quick celebratory ride because WE REACHED 1,000 SUBSCRIBERS! When we started this channel in April, we had no idea how much work it would take to get to this point. We are so thankful to everyone who has shown their support in these first months of our channel! We're excited for all the adventures we have planned for 2020!
As luck would have it, the day we shot this 1,000 subscriber episode, it snowed and the kids had the day off school! After Ben got home from work, we decided to get out for a ride. With winter upon us, daylight hours are in short supply, but we still had a great time driving around close to home and exploring in the snow!
We drove down to this pond where of course the kids were anxious to get out and explore. It's a beautiful area though it is a little closer to the highway than we normally ride. When you watch the video, I need to clear one thing up... Ben found a frozen coyote, told me to film the frozen coyote, then blamed me for filming it. Just needed to set the record straight.
We then went to check out this little creek for the kids and dog to explore. This is such a pretty area! We are so blessed to live in a rural area with so many treasures close by.
